You’re invited to join the Society for Public Health Education (SOPHE) Monday, December 4 in Washington, D.C., for the Smoking Cessation and Reduction in Pregnancy Treatment (SCRIPT®) Training Workshop.
SCRIPT® is an AHRQ-approved, evidence-based program developed to help pregnant women quit smoking. It is designed to be a component of a patient education program for prenatal care providers, and is a reimbursable service under the Patient and Affordable Care Act.
By participating in the SCRIPT® Training Program, you will walk away knowing how to:
- Routinely screen pregnant women for tobacco use
- Conduct a SCRIPT® counseling session based on the 5As
- Train staff at your practice
