The American Lung Association is excited to release a new case study, “Improving Medicaid Tobacco Cessation Coverage in South Carolina: A Case Study in Partnership.” The case study explores South Carolina’s successful efforts to improve their Medicaid tobacco cessation benefit.
On Monday, June 25th at 2:30pm ET, the American Lung Association is hosting a webinar to further explore the South Carolina story. They will be joined by members of the South Carolina team and CDC. During this webinar you will hear about the CDC 6ǀ18 Initiative, the partnership between South Carolina’s Medicaid office and the Department of Public Health and the how they worked together to bring a comprehensive tobacco cessation benefit to their Medicaid program.
