Join the Nuestras Voces (Our Voices) and APPEAL (Asian Pacific Partners for Empowerment, Advocacy, and Leadership) Networks’ webinar: What Works: Increasing Cervical Cancer Screening Amongst Hispanics, Asian & Pacific Islander Populations. In this webinar you will learn about examples of culturally proficient and evidence and practice-based community interventions and campaigns designed to increase screening rates for cervical cancer. The program will highlight resources to support efforts for cervical cancer education and prevention, and present examples of implemented interventions in Hispanic and Asian and Pacific Islander communities, such as: The Es Tiempo Campaign: A focus on clinic and environmental cues to promote screening; and, The Papalooza Screening Event: An effort to increase delivery of affordable cervical cancer screenings for uninsured women.
