The risks of tobacco use are widely known, but we know less about the intersection of marijuana use and e-cigarettes, or electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS.) It is common for individuals who smoke cigarettes or use e-cigarettes to also use marijuana and with these high rates of simultaneous use, it is important for behavioral health providers to know the current research and treatment options. This presentation will include information about what we know and don’t know about the intersection of nicotine dependence, marijuana, and e-cigarette use, as well as the potential benefits of simultaneously addressing all three with the people you serve.

During this webinar, participants will learn about:

  • The prevalence of nicotine dependence, e-cigarettes, and marijuana use
  • Effective treatment strategies for co-occurring marijuana and nicotine addiction
  • Efforts to create a national dialogue on the intersection of nicotine dependence, marijuana, and e-cigarette use
